By accessing or using Atropy ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
2. Description of Service
Atropy is an AI-powered thinking workspace that helps you structure ideas through conversations, knowledge cards, and an infinite canvas. Features include chat with AI, Zap (crystallizing ideas into cards), workspaces, and connected knowledge graphs.
3. Account and Eligibility
You must create an account to use the full Service. You must be at least 13 years old and provide accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable laws
- Upload, share, or generate content that infringes others' intellectual property, privacy, or other rights
- Use the Service to harass, abuse, defame, or harm others
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
- Circumvent usage limits, security measures, or access controls
- Use the Service to train or fine-tune AI models outside of normal Atropy usage
- Resell or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. Your Content
You retain ownership of the content you create (workspaces, cards, chat input). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide and improve the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content.
6. AI-Generated Content
Atropy uses AI to generate responses, card content, and suggestions. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying AI-generated content before relying on it. We do not guarantee the accuracy or suitability of AI outputs.
7. Subscription and Payment
Some features may require a paid subscription. Fees, billing cycles, and refund policies will be disclosed at the point of purchase. We may change pricing with reasonable notice. Failure to pay may result in suspension of paid features.
8. Service Availability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modify the Service with or without notice. We are not liable for downtime, data loss, or service interruptions except as required by law.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR UNINTERRUPTED.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ATRONY AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms, non-payment, or at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of India. If you are in a jurisdiction that does not permit certain limitations, those limitations may not apply to you.
